What is HAZECO?
HAZECO (Hazara Electric Supply Company) is Pakistan's newest DISCO, formed in 2023-24 by carving the Hazara Division out of PESCO to create a dedicated distribution utility for the seven districts of KP's Hazara belt. It serves approximately 1.2 million consumers across Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Battagram, Kohistan (Upper + Lower), Torghar, and Shangla.
Like all Wapda DISCOs, HAZECO uses the PITC (Power Information Technology Company) billing platform — meaning the online bill check, PDF duplicates, and payment channels all work identically to MEPCO, LESCO, IESCO, GEPCO, and the other DISCOs on this site.

How to check your HAZECO bill
- Locate your reference number: 14-digit number printed at the top-right of any HAZECO bill.
- Enter it in the checker above. The bill opens as a PDF in a new tab.
- Verify units consumed, due date, and payable amount against your meter reading.
- To pay: scan the barcode with JazzCash / Easypaisa / your bank app, OR take the printout to any HBL / MCB / UBL / Bank Alfalah branch.
- Save the reference number in your phone Notes so you never search again — our checker also stores your recent references locally.
HAZECO tariff notes (2026)
- Domestic Protected (under 200 units / 6 months): Rs. 11.69/unit
- Domestic Unprotected (typical): Rs. 22.95 – 42.72/unit by slab
- Commercial: Rs. 44 – 50/unit + minimum charge
- Neelum-Jhelum Surcharge: 10% of variable charges (KPK-specific, not paid in Punjab/Sindh)

If your bill doesn't load
- "No record": Verify the reference number digit-by-digit. If your bill was issued under the old PESCO code, use the current cycle's new HAZECO reference number.
- Bill missing: PITC uploads new bills 5–7 days after reading day. Wait 48 hours and re-try.
- Wrong amount or detection bill: Do not pay a disputed amount. See our dispute guide — file within 30 days.
