Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) serves six districts across central Punjab — Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Narowal and Mandi Bahauddin. Industrial density here (Sialkot's surgical, sports and leather industries; Gujranwala's manufacturing) means GEPCO handles a heavier commercial mix than most DISCOs. GEPCO helpline
Dial 118 from any Pakistani number. Have the reference number ready. Note the ticket number before ending the call — you need it if you escalate.

Common GEPCO issues
New bill missing. New bills appear on PITC 24–48 hours after generation. If it is still missing four days later, call 118.
Wrong slab / high bill. Request a meter check at your SDO. Over-recording is more common on meters older than 10 years. First meter test is free.
Detection bill. GEPCO's meter-audit team occasionally adds detection amounts. Dispute in writing within 30 days, ask for the audit report.
Commercial vs domestic tariff. In Sialkot and Gujrat where many homes double as small workshops, misclassification is common. If your home connection shows A-2 commercial tariff, apply for correction with proof of residential use.
Load-shedding. GEPCO publishes feeder-wise schedules on gepco.com.pk. Industrial zones typically see less shedding than rural feeders.
New connection
Not doable online. Visit your local GEPCO SDO with CNIC, proof of ownership or tenancy, and a site plan. Timeline: 30–60 days for a standard 5 kW domestic connection.
