What is a “Reference Number”(حوالہ نمبر)?
Now electricity online bill check is not an issue nowadays. Every consumer MEPCO bill is assigned a Reference Number. Every consumer is assigned a MEPCO reference number, which is a 14-digit number, without having to enter their name when checking their bill. TOU Meters
According to the NEPRA Tariff, all the connections that are using 5 kilowatts or more of power get a Time of Use (TOU/TOD) meter. Their tariff is consumed according to peak hours and off-peak hours. You can simply submit your MEPCO meter application at their head office.
If your power consumption is less than 5 kilowatts, you will get a TOU meter by giving an application to the subdivision office. Or you can get all the information from the MEPCO helpline.
